On November 17, four enterprises, as the first batch in Hunan Province, gained the certificate of ecological textile issued by China Quality Certification Center (CQC).

At the certificate issuing conference, CAO Zhigang, Deputy Inspector of Hunan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, WU Yuping, Vice Director of CQC issued the certificates to the four textile enterprises, including Yuanjiang City Star Ramie Industry Co., Ltd., Yiyang Shali Socks Co., Ltd., Yiyang Fuhui Clothing Co., Ltd. and Hunan Xurong Garment Co., Ltd.

Ecological textile certification is a necessity for textile enterprises to improve quality, ensure safety in order to enter the international market. The development of ecological textile certification is key to China’s textile industry developing to a higher level. In addition to filling in the gaps of China’s certification institution conducting ecological textile certification in Hunan Province, this certification also offers an opportunity for textile and clothing industry in Hunan Province to apply for ecological textile certification. Ecological textile certification will further improve the quality of textile, and accelerate the updating and upgrading of export products, which is helpful to breaking the “green barrier” and realizing sustainable development of textile industry in Hunan Province and the construction of ecological Hunan.
